The original Mackie Control had Midi I/O - the LW interface was via a Midi-USB converter - some worked and some didn't. The usual OK choice was the M Audio UNO. The next Mackie model had an integrated midi-USB and it did not work with LW. The last time I checked with support in the U.K. was probably about 3 years ago and that was still the case. It is most likely that there will be significant advances in the soon-to-be-released LW.
While I continue to work on the previous LW Alacrity until the new full release I do check each version of the LW Beta as it turns up. Until the last update my Mackie worked with LW Beta – I guess feature disabling in the free version is more advanced now and it will work again in the Pro version.
I also note that if you have a Titlemotion dongle Inscriber still works on LW Beta. Red Giant ‘Toonit’ also works as an effects plug-in.
