I have been following the posts here and still cannot seem to be able to bring Colorista 2 32bit into LW.

I have AE CS5 but I was still able to install Colorista 2 for AE CS3 and CS4. I then found the current folder:

C:\AECS4COMMONPATH and C:\AECS3COMMONPATH

within each folder is the Magic Bullet Colorista 2.AEX plugin file

I have copied both into the LW plugins folder and restarted to no avail. I did notice that on load LW seems to hang much longer than usual when building Effects catalogue before it enters the main screen. I thought this meant that it recognized the plugin but instead it crashed and when restarted the plugins where not there ( and it no longer crashed on load )


Am I missing anything? Any ideas? Thanks Alot!

Seems that they are for Mac X only unfortunately, certainly the Colorista.

But Lightworks has a pretty decent color correction features. Well, at the beginning, before you do not have presets of LW CC settings made, it is not a two click way of doing things like with RED Giant plug-ins, but once you create the set of effects and save it as presets, it can work pretty much same fast way as using RED Giant plug-ins. Personally I was surprised by the power the LW beta offered for color correction. LW is the first video editor from many that I faced with and said - wow, this editor wouldn;t miss RED Giant plug-ins, the one can achieve decent magic bullet looks with built in features without a sweat.

but the more extensions the better There can;t be too much things to easy the job.
