TOPIC: Short video export size is very large

Short video export size is very large 1 year, 2 months ago #19817


New to lightworks. I created a 2:18 seconds timeline edit. On export, the file size is 7.6 GB's! I am exporting only the timeline and in Quicktime format.
Project is: NTSC 16:9 720. I use transcoded h264 files (to MPEG 1 Frame (100)) from Canon 60D, a few effects and one music track.
Any thoughts?

Did you cut off the tail after your edit, if not you will include some ten minutes of black video.
( Go to the end of the edit, mark all the tracks, jump to the end of the timeline and delete).

Yes, I cut the video at the last clip. I could learn to like this tool but it is quite hard for a novice user. I am finding many problems and slowly the solutions. Thx roel!
