Due to standardization we have to upgrade to Windows 8.1.
But the upgrade proces stops and asks to delete the Sentinel Runtime Drivers.
These are installed with an earlier version of Lightwork and not correctly removed by uninstalling and reinstalling new versions of Lightworks.

Is it correct that Sentinel is not used any longer? I'am running the 64 version of the beta P release.

Please advise how to delete these file(s) and what are the name(s) of the file(s).

Kind Regards

Schhab

Go to this site: sentinelcustomer.safenet-inc.com/sentineldownloads/

Download: "Sentinel HASP/LDK - Command Line Run-time Installer"

Unzip the files somewhere on your hard drive.

In an elevated command prompt (run cmd.exe as an administrator) navigate to the location where you unzipped haspdinst.exe

Type the command: haspdinst.exe -remove

When it finishes successfully, type the command: haspdinst.exe -purge

When this finishes successfully, the HASP drivers should now be uninstalled. Re-boot and try the upgrade again.
Work Comp: XP Professional SP3, Dell Optiplex 740, AMD Athlon 64X2 2.6GHz, 3070MB, ATI Radeon X1300/X1550 256MB

Home Comp: TBA

Thanks , that helped me. Nobody else in the internet mentioned to use the purge command.
