A video tutorial about how to;

  • Make copy of an Edit in a Bin
  • Create a "tear-off" Timecode strip
  • Rearrange clips on the timeline using a Bin
  • Rearrange clips on the timeline using Searchcard - "Create Edit of matches"

Thanks to Matt Sandford at EditShare for useful tips.

Thanks for this excellent tutorial which confirms once more the (British) saying that "English is only spoken properly by foreigners".

I definitely think that video tutorials are the way forward for communicating what Lightworks has to offer--especially the finer points, the "tricks of the trade" and "know how". Reading the Lightworks Guide is of course essential but the combination of sound and vision is a far more effective and enjoyable way of educating new users about Lightworks' methodology and workflow.

And even if the viewer doesn't understand a word of English, they can get something from the visuals.
