I just read the article about Lightworks on HUGO. I have come to use it in the past 11 months and really do like it. Now i don't know what the 2 things in the circle are. Im guessing that they are some kind of video clips. I also do not know how to get the fx to be on top of the timeline like it is in the picture


This is a forum so i thought i'd ask and see if someone knows, sorry for the inconvenience

They are working in 3D so you have v1L and v1R for left and right eyes.

Adding an FX track was covered in another recent post, apparently when you hold down shift while adding an effect it will place it in an FX track. I haven't tried it yet so I'm just repeating what I read.

Thanks Greg, I haven't made a 3D movie so i didn't know. And about the FX track i'll have to look up the post

Now that I look at it again, it might not say FX on that track so I could be wrong.

If you add an effect using a marked region (rather than applying to the current section) you will get a new effect on a dedicated FX track. Also, you can right-click a V-track effect and choose 'unfold' to move it onto its own track.
