hi everybody if you do not want the shark tool,

do the following method to remove him

step1:

go to your program files folder (for windows 7 user go to program files(x86), and navigate to Lightworks installation folder.

step 2:

find shark.png file and delete it, now he will no longer appear in the software window

Important*:

Before doing it, close your NLE Software.

thanks

-or if you want to change it to "old school" one - bright red - you can create your own and save it as shark.png.

presumably you could also photoshop your own logo, using the same file parameters and saving it with the same name to the same location

Thanks for the tip!

Wouldn't it be quicker and safer just to rename it, though?
Specs: AMD 64 x 8 core, 16gb DDR3 Ram, Nvidia GTX 560 and Windows 7
while I (im)patiently wait for my Linux version to arrive...

I opened the file in Gimp shark.png using an eraser and erased the shark. Then save transparent background shark.png
