Please use the forum's Search function and don't post the same question in multiple threads. There is no direct support for AVCHD codec, in any of its flavours, in current LW Beta.

...but the Lightworks developers are working on this question of codecs as we speak. See announcement section. Keep an aye on this forum for developments.

I'm guessing you found it via the wikipedia link?

Edited for negativity. Note that the Wikepedia link (at the time of writing) contains innacuracies: Lightworks does not have a GPL license because it is not yet released under any Open Source license - Forum Admin
