ianconry NOW ONLINE Expert Boarder Posts: 107	I had to re-install from scratch again and once re-booted received the usual "exception has been thrown - terminating" error. Tried renaming "Shaders" to "Shaders_old" and starting. Exactly the same problem. If I run as normal user, opens loading screen with progress bar until it gets to the Searching for dll" error and just closes down. ian

I am getting a Windows System log message: \SystemRoot\SysWow64\Drivers\LWMouCon.SYS has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver. Don't know whether this helps...

I tried Lightworks a few weeks ago and that release could install. I uninstalled it and tried other editors. Coming back to the download site htere was thi new release.
I have an Intel 945 and the install process ands up with the same result as others describe.
My machine has a Atom N270, 2 GB RAM + 2 GB ReadyBoost with eUSB, a Broadcom CrystalHD graphic card (a hardware decoder I hope could work) and a M-Audio Delta 66 sound card. It's running Win 7 Ultimate.
I would like to try v 10 instead. But I'm willing to help you with testing if you like.
