The Lightworks font file LW.TTF cannot be found anywhere on my computer. Apart from that, everything works fine. I've tried restarting, reinstalling etc - still no sign of the file.

Can anyone tell me where to look next?

I'm running 64-bit Windows Vista.

The installer puts lw.ttf in the same folder as Lightworks.exe

I have a similar issue. I installed 10.0.4.1 last week, on Win7(32-bit), and it ran fine. I came back this morning after the weekend, and now the lw.ttf file is missing. It was not missing before.

The question is, how would the file have been removed? There are no other users of this PC. Symantec Endpoint Protection is what's used for antivirus, the logs show no detection/quarantine/deletions.

Rebooting did nothing, as the file was missing. I uninstalled/reinstalled from the same installer file, and it now works fine again.

I made a backup copy of the lightworks program folder, and if this happens again I'm going to compare the two to see if there are more files missing than just the lw.ttf.

The installer may well have put it there, but it's not there now and can't be found anywhere on my computer.

If you have 7-Zip you can open the installer with it and drag the lw.ttf file into the Lightworks directory. Opening the installer may work with other compression software (aka WinZip, WinRar) but I haven't used them in forever so I can't remember.

Perhaps a variation, but with the new update the installer can't write lw.ttf on my machine
