I m realy glad that i found that awesome program.
It works well for me but i have a problem :
When the program starts, there is a little sign:

Unlicensed
Machine number : 2, ID : 0xc5650d0d

I read a lot of it and tryed different things:
- runed as admin
- installed the newest version (re-installed) -> at the moment 10.04.2
- tryed to update
- allowed LW in my firewall

Has anybody some ideas, or any advice ?

Welcome to the Forum.

If you open up Windows Explorer and make your way to this directory: C:\Users\???\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Lightworks you should see these files:

1. Lightworks.lic
2. Lightworks.bak
3. lwprotect.lwd

Please delete the files above and reinstall the latest Lightworks version 10.0.4.2

I was able to make my way to the directory (by showing hidden folders)
But there was only one file (lwprotect.lwd),
I deleted it an reinstalled but I still have the same issue
I found the same file there again and also in the folder where lightworks is.

Oh
I nearly solved the problem:
I clicked on the sign "Install license file..."(where unlicensed stands)
I made my way to the file "lwprotect.lwd"

After that a message appeared:
license installed- please restart

and also the sign disappeard

I did the restart but the sign was there again

The "???" represents the folder name of the account you are logged on to Windows with. C:\Users\???\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Lightworks Please make sure that you have deleted the files from the correct folder and that after reinstalling Lightworks you started it by right clicking the shortcut icon and selected "Run as administrator"
