Yes, it was the first steps that made all the difference or I would still be stumbling around.

I'll work on a Lightworks centric document for this over the weekend, but this brings up a thought...

Instead of just the tips section, should we post guides to things in the section that relates to the subject, or should they be down in the tips section? Should we also have a sticky thread that serves as an index for all these different guides (by subject)? Everything is still small in that the number of people asking questions and probably reading is still under 10,000 , but once this picks up it will be more difficult to find things because they will quickly fall down the list of posts into oblivion where no one will take the time to find them.

We have been thinking of sorting out the threads in the forum, and, at the very least, making the most useful ones "Sticky". The question is: which ones?

If anyone's got any thoughts on this, let me know... (I don't mean the ones just related to Wax, but any subject.

See my post in the misc. section for some ideas. An index is probably one of the more useful things, but it needs to have the topics picked up on a search even if the users is searching by thread title only. Having an entire first page for each section full of stickies is less than ideal so how many sticky threads are too many?
