Well, the news is that tomorrow the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) starts. We are all there and will be demonstrating the Linux version. This is not just a technology preview; it's a proper demonstration.

What needs to happen after this is that we will go through the usual period of testing (private and public) and the success of that will determine when the Linux version is released. We will announce details of the test program in due course.

The Linux version has a lot in common with the OS X version, and work on that is progressing well, but is not as advanced as the Linux version.

I wish we could skip the private alpha testing stage and move to public beta, but well, that is only me... I believe LW on Linux will be absolutely awesome and fantastic.
