I have been wrestling with this error all day, and have tried many 'solutions' to no avail. Basically the problem is that I downloaded LW installer version 11.0.3 (setup_v11.0.3_updated.exe), and ran it, but the installer threw an exception when it got into the actual line by line install progress section. Here's the error:

V2C Error: HASP LM is not running
ErrorCode 37 0 4557 33

After I click OK on that, it gives me a message saying HASP failed to install with error code 65573. Also, once I got an error talking about Hardlock, but I can't seem to reproduce it. First let me describe my system:

HP dv6t 6100 laptop
Windows 7 x64 Home Premium
Intel i5 2410m CPU
ATI Radeon 6770m GPU
6gb RAM
640GB 7200RPM drive

Relevant software:

k9 web protection (for web filtering)
McAfee SecurityCenter (Firewall and AV)
Windows Firewall (obviously), but I don't use it.

During all of the following trials, Firewall and real-time scanning were disabled in McAfee, and the Windows Firewall was turned off, with seemingly no effect. Therefore, please don't just say "Did you turn your firewall off", unless you have specific knowledge with this software and see that there's something I didn't do.

Here is a condensed list of what I have tried so far, interspersed with many MANY restarts and attempts to install LW (not in chronological order):

Downloaded the HASP sentinel LDK runtime setup from SafeNet and installed.

Copied haspdinst.exe to C:\ and ran first with -r then -i with a restart between. (The first part was done while the error message was displayed, as suggested)

added hasplms.exe to the windows firewall exception list, but I don't see how that would have an effect with the firewall disabled.

Checked to see if the Sentinel local license service was running (It was and was set to automatic).

Changed the recovery response for all failures to "restart the service" in the above service properties.

Went to localhost:1947, no products or keys listed.

Also, I should mention that this is the First time I have tried to install any version of LW. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attached screenshots of each error message. If you would like more information, please do not hesitate to ask.]]>

I copied from my profile's activations page but keep receiving the message Product key is for the wrong product.
By the way I have now just 1 activation possibilities left and no activated software

I have not received and email and when i checked my activation keys its not there. After searching things on google, i relized that the guys who work here sometimes have to disable the activation. So has this happened, or do i have an issue!!!!

I'm new to Lightworks; just downloaded it two or three minutes ago, in fact. I registered, downloaded, and watched the tutorials with no problem.

I do have one question so far, though: What happens to my Lightworks application on my computer after my "free 1 year registration?" Will I be sent a new activation code, or can I no longer use this program? I know this worry that I have pertains to something that is a year away, but I was just wondering about this. I'm really looking forward to using this awesome program!

Im trying to activate lightworks - but fail everytime with the error message "failed to connect to server".

I have searched the forums and disabled all firewalls. Also I have checked with Wireshark and it seems the server (92.27.207.116) is attempted contacted via https but sends back tcp-rst immediately.

Is there some status page with lwks server status ? - Maybe its just down but I have tried all day.

Hello,

I had a problem with my computer user accounts. In the process of resolving this my IT guy loss all of my .exe files. I have to re-download all of my programs files. I reinstalled LWKS and tried to enter my Pro Activation code but was not able to. It stated I only have one activation.

How do I resolve this issue as my time has not expired?
